I took a 10.7 second chunk from an early mix of soundcloud.com/plex-auchta/bambus-feat-pretzels-malone

the chunk i stole from 'bambus' was approximately 0:39-0:50 in the song. the lyrics in this part are "you make it so hard to try, you set the bar so unbelievably high". i reversed the whole part and looped it a total of seven times. I turned the final two loops back around so they were going forwards again.

when plex and i were writing and recording the original 'bambus', i had attempted a piano part...I ended up not liking it for multiple reasons, and had never even played it for plex. i remembered it while working on this version, and found some sections of piano that matched up well. i reversed the first 0:53 seconds of the piano so that the piano line would start going forward at the same point as the original loop.

the vocals on this (and the original bambus) are personal. it's about growing up, and about my parents who never made mistakes...
